BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Bonnie Harris – Board Member – Founder and Director

Bonnie grew up in a poor, dysfunctional family in North Carolina. Her father was an alcoholic and abusive.  She is one of four children and fell in love with softball at an early age.  Sports were her outlet and she went to college on a softball scholarship but only stayed one year.  Walking in defeat and under generational curses, she started using crack cocaine when her marriage failed.  She had two young children and her life went downhill until she was unemployable and homeless.  Bonnie was saved but not free. She went to rehab and moved away from the people, places, things and all the excuses she used to keep her in bondage.  In 1993 she rededicated her life to Jesus Christ and has been walking a life surrendering to Him.  In 1994 God spoke clearly to Bonnie and told her to open a home for women to help them get off of drugs.  By God’s grace Hannah’s Haven, A Teen Challenge Center received their first woman in 2006 and began teaching women how to come to know the love of Jesus Christ and the plan that He has for them which is not a plan to harm them but a plan to prosper them.  Hannah’s Haven is a non-profit ministry and is funded totally in faith by individual contributions.  Bonnie is a member of Grace Community Church in Greensboro and has led many people to freedom through Jesus Christ through her testimony, community outreach and obedience to follow God no matter what.

Morgan Fain – Board Member

Morgan Fain grew up in High Point, NC where her world got disrupted at age 7 through her parents’ divorce. She was brought up in church and introduced to Christ early on but was easily swayed by the things of this world to fill the void inside her.  Her parents did everything they could to get her help for the lifestyle she was trapped in.  But then God Himself presented her with the spiritual reality that changed her life forever.  “I’m a proud graduate of Hannah’s Haven and am honored to be in a position to give back to the ministry that led me to freedom!”
