Changing the world was Bill Mangum’s inspiration for the 2011 Honor Card that raises money and awareness for eleven agencies across North Carolina to meet the needs of the homeless. In Greensboro all the donations are designated to Urban Ministries. Bonnie Harris, Hannah’s Haven Founder & Director and a former resident of an Urban Ministry shelter was Bill’s inspiration exemplifying how to change the world, one person at a time. Andy Stanley, pastor of North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia preached, “Do for one what you wish you could do for everyone”. Bonnie is pictured in this Bill Mangum original painting glancing out at a homeless woman sitting in front of Greensboro’s downtown Smith Street Diner.
